Pints for Progress is a community building initiative started by our friends LiveNF out of Niagara Falls, New York. The mission is providing a platform for community members to take and voice their concerns or ideas while providing the opportunity to receive funds helping them act upon their goal. It involves plenty of brainstorming and a ton of community interaction and involvement which are two things we can use in our Lockport community.
Part of the National Small Business Saturday, LMS Inc. hosts a welcome station to celebrate the small, independent retail businesses in Lockport, NY. Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving the day encourages community members to rethink their holiday shopping and put money back into their community, all while buying unique, local gifts. Art on Main Street is a three fold program working to advance local artists, beautify downtown Lockport, NY, and encourage new businesses to open in the downtown corridor.
Our main tourist publication. The Visitor's Guide is printed annually. 25,000 copies are distributed throughout the greater Western New York and Central New York area.

A celebration of community and the heritage of our City, build on the banks of the Erie Canal. Held the last Saturday of September, Locktoberfest is a day to celebrate the full bounty of the Farmers Market, enjoy local foods, music, activities and special Erie Canal demonstrations.
LMS Inc. works to provide discounted co-op marketing opportunities to the business's of Lockport. This program allows for small, independent businesses to market to a larger audience, on a larger scale.

LMS Inc. hosts an annual business owner mixer, allowing key staff members to reacquaint themselves with each other and the upcoming events in the City.
